Installing the throttle quadrant as is, puts the throttle lock inside the Aerosport Products lower console. Based upon some directions of Bill Peyton, I disassembled the quadrant to replace the main bolt with a AN3-60A replacement.
The was a bolt head holder riveted into the side of the quadrant. It had to be drilled out and re-riveted after inserting the new bolt.
The next task was to figure out where the hole needs to be on the lower console. I drilled the iniitial hole, but it will need to be enlarged a bit and the center shifted a bit.
I still need to fabricate a bushing to span the gap between the outside of the quadrant and the side of the lower consoe panel. Additionally, the AN3-60A scew needs to be threaded an additional couple inches.
