I was in Dallas for my company's customer user conference, so I decided to look to find some local RV-10 builders.
Wayne Edgerton gladly volunteered to show me around. Unfortunately, his 10 was in the paint shop.
I had dinner with Wayne, Ron Grover and his wife at Cristina's, a great Mexican Restraunt in Flowermound.
Afterwards, Wayne gave me a tour of the local airports. We drove by North West Regional Airport, home of GLO Aircraft Painting and Doug Reeves. Unfortuantely, at the time of night, no handgar doors were open.
We then headed out to Propwash in Justin. Ron gave us a tour of his RV-10. He is pretty far along and the workmanship was top notch. It's a small wold. Back in December I took a builder's class from Troy Gorver, Ron's son.
We then swung by Wayne's hangar, which was mising he RV-10. Both Wayne and Ron are quite fortunate to have the facilities they do. At this point, I can only dream!
