I finally got around to polishing the aluminum inlet ring for the ram air. I used a kit from Harbor Freight. It did a decent job, but far from perfect. It's good enough for this summer, so it will go on the winter punch list.
I also adjusted the flap positioner sensor. It appears that I need about 1/8" more throw. The positioner also stops at about 230, whereas the VPX manual states it should go to 250. I'll have to validate to see if I have a faulty positioner.
