I drilled out a rivet on the horizontal for the fairing attachment. Apparently, I had put in one too many.
We fitted the elevators and rudder to ensure that we had adequate clearance on all the fairings. Then we proceeded to disassemble the tail feathers. It is easier to fiberglass the horizontal zips off the plane. Additionally, we can't transport the plane with the horizontal mounted to the painterl.
I applied a single strip of fiber glass to the horizontal fairing tips.
I also drilled a 1.5" inch hole on the nose wheel pant.
The next time these are assembled, it will be the final time
