I had to fabricate a new shim for the wing fairing on the left wing. I was able to save the shim on the right side to re-use. I then riveted the shim into it's appropriate location on the left wing.
Brad worked on:
44-8, Steps 1 & 2
Cut apart the F-1099D Wing Root Fairing Stiffeners
Cleco the F-1099D Wing Root Fairing Stiffeners to the F-1099A Upper Wing Root Fairing. Final-Drill #40 the rivet attach holes.
The left flap and ailerons are aligned perfectly. I still have a problem on the right side. There is also a difference of .4 degrees up and 1 degree down between the ailerons. The flaps go down 2 degrees too far, but I can stop that with the VP-X.
