Fasten the Cowl Upper Pin Retainer Assembly to the top cowl with the screws. The top cowl hinges had to be slightly modified to accomodat the retainer.
When I attempted to put in the hinge pin, each side got hung up at different locations. The next time I take the cowl off, I'll have to investigate what is causing the problem. Both side hing pins went it just fine.
I spent most of the day filling and sanding on the cabin cover interior. Janice helped a little bit in the morning.
