Brief Description: Oil change / temperature probe swap
My engine now has 1 hour of ground running on it so it was time to change the oil. I did this today and in the process I decided to change the oil temperature probe as well. The probe I had was the VDO sump plug probe which does not give me good readings on my MGL. I now installed an LM335 precision probe which goes in the front lower left block off plate through a 1/8" NPT hole. It gives me better readings and it's easier not to have to remove the probe when changing oil as well.
