Trimmed the lower edge of the windshield to the cut line from Rans. This appeared to be in the proper location. Fit the windshield to the forward fuselage with tape and the preformed windshield strip. Glad I ordered the strip as it fit very nicely with minor trimming. Drilled the strip to the fuselage with #40 and clecoed. Drilled the windshield to the roll bar with #40 and clecoed. Drilled the strip to #30. Removed the windshield and driilled the roll bar to 1/4 and installed the rivnuts. Happily I have a rivnut installation tool and did not have to use the method in the instructions.
