Brief Description: Installed brake cylinders & nose gear
Starting yesterday, I put in some long hours to install the brake cylinders and then move around to the other side of the firewall for work on the nose gear. Last year I made a big enough contribution to the Matronics list to get a copy of "601XL Quickbuild Tips". It had a good section on the nose gear, which I reviewed and relied upon for the process I used. Especially helpful in locating and installing the lower bearing block. It all went together well, but I discovered that the wheel I was sold by Grove was not the right axle size. Soooo, for the time being, it is a wheel fork without the wheel. I feel like I made great progress today.
