By working a couple of hours on Monday night and 30 minutes here, 45 minutes there, I was finally able to bet my gear uprights cut, new gussets fabricated, and the whole system put into place. For anyone paying attention, I've been here before, but now I have my gear channel set to the right dimensions, so I'm now free to build on a solid platform going forward. For the record, this process of replacing one faulty part cost me 14 hours. I'm glad to be moving into new territory starting tomorrow!
