Brief Description: Fabricated new cabin floor & pedal bearing channel
About the only structural modification I've been planning is to move the rudder pedals forward due to my height. I got clearance from Zenith to move them up to 2", but ended up setting them forward only 1.3" to pick up a little room without creating problems for myself in differential braking while taxiing. The way I've done it, I could even add one more set of holes and move them forward 2.6" if I discover that there are no problems in doing so. To make this happen, I needed to make a new cabin floor and pedal bearing channel because both were pre-drilled and the size of the channel needed to be increased. I still have to add the bottom longerons, the brake pedals, brake cylinders and rudder pedal/brake cylinder supports.
Cabin floor, rudder pedals and the firewall (temporarily in place).
Looking more like something you could fly -- or fish from.
