I started the day finishing some left of priming of small parts, since I ran out of spray primer last night. After I finished last night, I re-read the plans and saw that I had missed putting larger (A5) rivets in the forward portion of the rear fuselage. That meant that I had to drill our and replace 60 rivets. That's the price one pays for not double checking. All is well, it just slowed me down and cost me 60 A-4 rivets (that are not cheap). I then added the cross braces toward the front, diagonally creased the access door, and installed the hinge. My last step was going to be to put on the bottom rudder hinge system, but I discovered that my holes do not match with the incorrect CNC fuselage bottom provided by Tom Henderson. Now I'll either need to get new parts from him (cross my fingers) or make them from scratch (last resort). We shall see. This slows me down for the foreseeable future.
