The time listed for today includes other tasks which will follow. As mentioned earlier, Dan Weseman posted a way to get pulses into the RDAC to measure RPM. I tried it and it worked fine in the low RPM range, but didn't advance as expected when the throttle was advanced. In talking with Matt at MGL, he suggested that I experiment with the jumpers for "Ballast" and "DC" on the RDAC. There are four possible combinations, and by moving both jumpers to the outside positions I was able to get perfect results. My EFIS now tracks perfectly with the optical tach meter I've been using. Once I confirmed this configuration, I made my permanent connections to the alternator wire and secured the wire routing.
