Brief Description: 5 - Made and installed new landing light lens
Several weeks ago, I didn't have the heart to report a mishap in the hangar that resulted in losing my right landing light acrylic lens. I was pulling the airplane out of the hanger for "one last picture" and didn't pay close attention to the available opening the the length of my right wing. Crunch! Today with $8.29 worth of clear .080" acrylic and my heat gun, I made a new one. For my form I just took my nose rib form blocks and strapped a piece of sheet aluminum over the contour. Worked like a charm. Now I'm back in business again. Lesson learned.
