I set up saw horses in the back yard so I could work on the left wing top side without interfering with the pitot tube. Over the course of two days I completed the top side. Because of the extra heavy grain on the top skin, I found that it was necessary to make 7 to 9 passes with F9 compound. Even at that, there is more work to be done over the years to get a total mirror finish. The streaks in the picture will go away when I do the final polish after assembly at the airport.
One down one to go. Notice the unpolished wing behind. What a difference!
