Brief Description:  Started polishing

Tonight was my time to launch into the wonderful world of aluminum polishing. After a get a handle on it, I'll post information on tips and techniques. On the advice of Ron from Nuvite, I bought Micromesh Specialty Sandpaper (a sample pack) from Micro Surface Corporation. You use it with Tap Magic as the lubicant, and it was intended to help remove light scratches, but I had also heard that giving the entire surface a light sanding could speed up the compounding process. I tried it, but I'm pretty sure I went too deep with the 300 and 600 grit, leaving light grooves in my final product. The shine is spectacular, but I'll be consulting with Ron on Monday to insure that I'm doing the right thing going forward. All in all I see real promise, but I can tell that this is going to be terribly messy work. Gotta love the shine!
