We returned from our annual Arizona Christmas trip early this morning, and by this afternoon I was ready to return to the shop. Ryan is visiting and agreed to help me pull a few rivets. He was a good sport and just kept volunteering to stay and help. 8.25 hours later, we were beat, but had made tremendous progress. Our first task was to install the landing light in the right wing. We also connected the AOA tube to the upper port. Next we moved the finished right wing off of the worktable and moved the unfinished wing onto it. The rest of the evening was spent drilling the top skin from #40 to #30 and then to #20, deburring the entire wing, then cleaning and priming everything. The last task of the night was to start the riveting process by attaching the aft edge of the skin to the rear channel. It looks like I'll head into the first day or two of 2008 with two completed wings.
