Brief Description:  Made another leading edge skin, trimmed and primed

Before describing today's progress, I should give a follow-up to the fuel tanks that arrived several days ago. Last night I riveted the nose ribs to the spar (included in today's time) and I thought it would be fun to temporarily place the fuel tank between nose ribs #3 and #4 to check spacing. You can imagine my surprise when I had lots of extra room around the tank. Of course my first thought was that I had mis-read the plans and built the tank area to be too long. After several minutes of checking and re-checking my wing, I became completely sure that my wings were right. Whew! What that meant, remarkably, is that the factory sent me the standard (12 gal.) tanks instead of the long range (15 gal.) tanks. The inventory sticker was wrong, and the shipper just grabbed them off the shelf without checking. So back to Mexico, MO with these tanks. Tonight I began working with my left wing leading edge skin that I made several weeks ago, and became bothered by several blemishes that have come about from improper handling and general shop rash. The good news is that all were on the wing bottom. Tonight in moving it with some help, it creased in a most unfortunate way, leaving a small crease on the top side this time. That did it for me. I asked Joy, AJ and Tom for help and once again we used the worktable bending brake method from the www.ch601.org site. Thanks Mark and Dave! It came out perfectly, I trimmed it, cleaned it, and primed it so I'm ready to drill, deburr and rivet tomorrow.
