In the ultimate "eat your vegetables first" move, I decided to gut it out and make all the parts that go in the wings besides the ribs and main spars. The other option, which was tempting, was to just make the rear channel and accessories and start making the skeleton in the next day or two. The reality is that I would just end up with a worktable completely covered with wing skeleton, and no place to work when I needed to make these other parts. My plan at first was just to cut the many aluminum blanks to size and not finish anything. I got over eager about some of the rounded and heavy pieces, so I completed the tie downs, the root doublers and the aileron access covers. Everything else needs to have something done to it...mostly lots of bending brake work. Enough to keep me busy for another day, I'm sure.
