Today was special. For years I have labored to build a fuselage and build (and rebuild) my wings. Until now they were separate components that could be moved about and nudged into free space in my garage or hangar. As of 5:00 PM today, they are one and they are no longer components, but they combine to form the exterior of an airplane. Now walking to the other side of the plane is not just a quick trip around the nose of the airplane, it involves a walk around these long wings sticking out into the wind. How exciting it that? I checked my nav/strobes and landing lights, and everytning works as it should. I can't wait to start rigging the controls and buttoning up this project. It's about time!
