Brief Description: Adding spar stiffener, and tight fit AN3
I picked up some #12 bits this morning in anticipation sizing it for the "tight fit" AN3 bolts specified on the main spar print.
To my surprise, the AN3 bolts I have now are slightly narrower than the ones I had for the tail section. Fortunately I had a few #13 bits, and was able to dull one of them by first grinding the cutting tips, then chucking the bit in my drill press, and lightly sanding it with 220 grit paper for a few seconds. Now I have a bit that is the perfect size for this brand of AN3.
I finally got started on the spar again, I'm really taking my time to study the drawings, so I'll probably have plenty of W08 updates. I did manage to get a stiffener angle clamped and drilled though.
