The very forward end of the vertical stabilizer was damaged in the accident, requiring replacement of the forward skin and leading edge. Mountain Airframe found a couple of buckled ribs in the left side of the horizontal stabilizer requiring repair. This damage was more likely caused by improper lifing than in the accident.
