Brief Description: Left Wing Leading Edge and Aileron Brackets
A quick evening in the shop.
First, I finally got a return email from Vans stating that the extra holes in the leading edge rib and main rib are not a problem, so I went ahead and dimpled the W-408 rib and W-423 joint plate in preparation for finishing final assembly of the left leading edge. Vans also suggested shims to improve the leading edge to tank skin joint, but I'm going to give sealant between the rib and joint plate a shot first.
Lastly, I prepped and primed the the aileron bracket parts for both wings.
