Fabricated brake pedal pivot pins from 3/16” 4130 steel rod. Used a hardwood jig to drill cross holes, then secured the ends with AN960-3 washers and AN380-1-2 cotter pins. This is the same material and method used to fabricate and secure brake pedal pivots in my 170.
