Tonight I fit the F-982D Heat Baffle and nutplates for the F-982E Access Plate fitted and attached them to the F-782C Center Cabin Cover. I couldn't find the Access Plate itself, but the only prep it will need is making sure the screw holes are drilled to final size. No biggie.
In an effort to minimize the amount of paint in close proximity to the firewall I didn't prime the baffle or the center cover. All the parts are alclad, so corrosion should be minimized anyway, and the parts are removed for inspection every year and are easily replaced if significant corrosion is found.
