Brief Description: Deburring, Prepping, Priming Small Fuselage Parts
Today I finished edge deburring all of the loose fuselage parts except for the two top skins. After that I notched the F-705G canopy latch angles for clearance for the future shop heads of three skin to longeron rivets on each side of the fuselage (photo 1). There is no way I'd ever get a bucking bar between the latch angle and the longeron, so I drilled those three holes on each side to #30 to accommodate CS4-4 blind rivets.
After that I prepped and primed some of the small fuselage parts that can be riveted soon (photo 2). I prepped what I could at the kitchen sink, as it turned a bit cool outside today. I could have added the elevator bellcrank to the pile, but I didn't notice it until I had already cleaned up. I'll do the rest of the loose parts, including skins when it warms up outside.
