Brief Description: Center Fuselage, Forward Side Skins
Today Karen helped me dimple the new center fuselage bottom skin. She's a great help holding the skin when it won't balance on the dimpling table. She's also very good at not letting me dimple in holes I've specifically marked to NOT dimple... I then placed the skin on the center fuselage skeleton, and counter sunk said holes (for the aft ends of the forward floor stiffeners).
I then devinyled the right forward side skin. About half way through it occurred to me that I will have to store these skins while I finish prepping the forward fuselage skeleton parts. I think I’ll wait to dimple this skin or to even devinyl the left one until I'm closer to installing them to decrease the chances of them being scratched, or the dimples causing scratches while being stored.
Countersunk holes for rivets that will attach the aft ends of the forward floor stiffeners.
