Brief Description:  Forward Fuselage

Today I match drilled the right F-719B angle clip to its forward skin stiffener and vertical firewall stiffener. Similar to yesterday, I braced the stiffener so as to rigidly maintain its position relative to the firewall with the skin peeled back for drilling access (photo 1).

I then drilled the right lower longeron to the right lower engine mount bracket and bolted the two together. I then clecoed the right F-902 bulkhead in place and clamped the longeron to its lower tab so as to precisely set the position of the longeron (photo 3). I'll shim the side skin to account for the absence of the bottom skin, match drill the bulkhead tab into the longeron, then reinstall the bottom skin for final drilling of the assembly.

I finished up by installing and torqueing the bolts connecting the left lower engine mount to its lower longeron.
