I got a late start today, but began riveting the F-705 rear spar and seat back bulkhead. In the process of riveting the F-705B spar bar and F-705C doublers to the F-705A bottom bulkhead, I forgot the most outboard rivet that goes through the F-705A & B. I had to remove the F-705C's for access - five -8 length rivets each. :O( I managed to pull it off without elongating the holes! :O) I ALMOST missed the fact that the rivet I forgot also goes through the upright, but caught it before I had to drill out MORE rivets.
To complete this bulkhead, I still need to rivet the upright doublers and the seat back adjust parts. Due to interference, the upper corners and F-705G angles will get riveted after the side skins are riveted.
Rivets Today: 25 Rivets Total: 7633
Ready to rivet the spar doublers... NOT!
I managed to drill out the spar doublers without elongating the holes.
F-705 A, B & C with all the rivets they get for now.
