Tonight Karen had her Bunco group over so it was very good night to be in the shop. ;O)
I scuffed, cleaned, and primed the F-665 aileron interconnect pushrod, then permanently installed it to the control stick ends (photo 1). The instructions allude to also permanently installing the sticks to the control column, but column cannot be installed to the mounts with the sticks installed, due to interference between the sticks and the control column pivot bolts. After removing the control column pivot bolts, I installed the long aileron pivot bolts and threaded on the castle nuts and hung up the assembly until time for installation.
I was going to also install cover support ribs and web stiffeners tonight, but only got as far as riveting the nutplates to them. (photo 2)
