Brief Description: Aft Fuselage Repair

Finally received my “oops” rivets, so I completed last two rivets in F-710 bulkhead replacement (photo 1).
On the F-714 aft deck, I deburred, scuffed, cleaned, and primed the rivet lines on the bottom (photo 2), as well as and top of the aft end where the F-712D up elevator stop will attach. Also scuffed, cleaned, and primed the F-710C spacer.
Deburred and dimpled The F-706, 7, and 8 bulkheads and F-788 gusset.
Riveted aft deck. RV-7 builder and flyer Gary Konrad bucked the hard-to-reach rivets around the stabilizer attach bars while I ran the gun with an offset set (for me it takes two hands).
