Brief Description:  Baggage Compartment

I started this session by drilling for and installing the nutplates on the top of the lower baggage bulkhead that will secure the sides of the shoulder harness cable clearance slots in the upper bulkhead.

After that I fabricated all the piece parts to install the F-6114B & C shoulder harness cable wear blocks (photo 1), then installed same (photo 2). I had thought about using some pre-manufactured rivet washers I have that are normally used to help secure baffle seal material, but they are 1/16" thick, and would have caused the stack up to exceed the grip length of the prescribed LP4-3 rivets. The square ones fabricated from the supplied strip of 0.040 were a bit tedious but I got through it. (Have you ever tried to deburr the edges of a 1/2" x 1/2" piece of aluminum?)

On to the aft seat floors!
