Today I dimpled the screw holes for the left wing access covers in both the wing skins and in the covers themselves. I then installed the K1100-8 nutplates on the skin for attachment of the covers. Rather than dimple the skins and nutplates for rivets, I used my 3-flute deburring tool to countersink for NAS #3 reduced head rivets. It took about 12-15 turns with medium pressure to produce a countersink for nicely flush rivets.
Installing the covers with every third screw completes preparation of the wings for shipment.
