Today I moved on to the baggage area. After spending some quality time with the instructions and plans, I riveted nutplates to the horizontal ribs then clecoed both sets of horizontal and vertical baggage ribs to the side skins. The instructions say to adjust the bottom flange on the vertical ribs to fit the F-623 corner rib, but I think it may be easier to fabricate shims. Personally, I think it would have been better to wait to drill the side skins to the corner ribs until these vertical ribs were fit. That way, the floor could have been raised the 1/32 to 1/16 inch to fit the vertical rib bottom flange.
