Brief Description:  Forward Side Skin

Not much time tonight (working overtime at my day job...), so my intention was to just remove the left side skin and prepare it for rolling the lower aft corner. That removal and prep took so little time I decided to go ahead and start the rolling process.

I'm using the "Orndorff" method, where you mark a series of lines from the vertex of the bend to the aft edge of the skin. Then you clamp the skin between two pieces of wood at each line, starting with the uppermost, and roll slightly, repeating the process as you work your way toward the bottom of the skin. I under bent the third line, and slightly over bent at the sixth line, so after doing the best I could to correct those, I called it a night.

Sneaky devil that George is, he stops his video demonstration at about 5th line, so you don't get to see how difficult it becomes to properly locate the boards after that. From there on down, you pretty much have to locate the forward corner of the boards right at the vertex of the roll. If you don't, the boards clamp the skin forward of the vertex, and you definitely don't want that.
