Today, I deburred the edges of the lightening holes in the left aileron spar, then scuffed and cleaned all the faying surfaces (with Dawn dishwashing detergent), then primed all the scuffed surfaces. I still have to countersink and prime the counterbalance pipe, and dimple the skins, ribs, and spar before assembling the aileron.
