Brief Description:  Right Fuel Tank

Tonight the plan was to completely finish the tank by 1) installing the return line fitting to the access cover, 2) install the access cover to the tank, 3) install the AD-41H rivets (correct ones this time) through the baffle into the ribs above and below the brackets, 4) encapsulate the skin to baffle rivets, and 5) run a small fillet along the edeg of the baffle at the skin.

I got the return fitting sealed to the cover, or so I thought. Acutally, the thick washer I'd placed on the inside wouldn't clear the access hole in the rib. I said a few unprintable words, then pulled the cover and turned the fitting around, putting the washer on the outside, only to cross-thread the nut on the fitting. Now all the neighbors know it's been a very long time since I've been to Sunday School...

I tossed the fitting and nut into the trash, and not having a spare, I cleaned up the cover plate and rib, and moved on to items 3 through 5 above without further incident (that I know of).
