Brief Description: Installed and prosealed OB fuel tank rib
After I riveted all my inboard 1004L ribs I went back and riveted in this outboard rib in place. At this point in time I had some working knowledge using proseal and I was kind of getting used to it. Not as bad as I thought.
I layered a large bead of sealant on the inboard edge around the location where skin and flange meet. I want to prevent a leak at the earliest location possible. No need to seal the rivets if this bead of sealant is applied properly.
You can also see a squeeze out of sealant on the leading edge which is what you want to see for a good seal:-)
I will know just as soon as I am done with the left tank. Then I will pressure test for leaks before starting the right,
