The paint was cured enough to go ahead and assemble the box. I bought some velcro straps at the home depot that work REALLY well to hold this puppy in place. Just wrapped em around the instruments above. The door paint is so close to the panel paint that I can't tell the difference. Complete success! So happy I took the time to build this. Now there's no massive hole in my panel :)
