Brief Description:  Air filter box micro is sanded and hatch nutplates

The micro round on the air box was sanded down. The new intake tube has nice curves if you ask me :) Next step was to add nutplates for the top hatch. I used a dremel to clear out the 4 corners of the boxes flox lip and then embedded #6-32 nutplates under wet flox. Using the hatch wrapped in tape as a mold to shape the flox over the voids. My next task will be to finalize the hatch fitment using dry micro around it's perimeter to flush up the ends. I will then add primer, and a drain vent and she'll be ready for installation. I plan to paint her after she is bonded to the firewall. More steps ahead but one less today :)
