Brief Description:  Smooth bore silicone hose..DONE.

My ultimate goal was to give the induction air the smoothest route from outside to throttle body. Today I made that happen. I cut the 45 degree silicone reducer elbow to line up with the intake tube and throttle body but it was too short and off by 10 degrees to one side. Not a problem, I just had to make an extension. I used some 2" 304 SS tubing I had that already had a mandrel bend in it, so I got that 10 degree bend as perfect as it could ever be! I then installed it in just the right position and laid over it 3 plies UND. I wanted the connection to the silicone to be extra snug and it's pretty dang tight. I may add another couple plies. we'll see.
I'm stoked that I have NO Scat tubing anywhere. This is the smoothest way to get air into the engine and I'm hoping to see 180kts true tomorrow on my way to Fredrickburg for lunch if oil temps allow.
