Brief Description:  Induction scoop gets glass

The foam was cleared out, contoured and glassed with 2 plys BID and a third on the leading edge. Using heat lamps I was able to speed up the cure and add Z-Grip to the inside of both halves. Now that the interior was ready for paint, I decided to assemble the 2 halves using 1 ply UNI all around. After cure I'll use X-30 again and begin forming the exterior which will lend itself to a low drag solution. It's nice having a plan to finally move forward on. The only thing I'm "kinda down" about is that the entry duct doesn't line up with the throttle body very well which may mean I will be forced to use a hose vs. a smooth silicone coupler. I may extend the entry duct and bend it around to solve this issue if I'm feeling like the extra work is worth it. After doing a static runup, I should have my answer to that. I'm also considering the addition of honeycomb to the scoop in order to keep out bugs n such. Not sure they would enjoy the combustion chamber too much.
