Brief Description:  Pretty cool

So I was able to install the new Air fillter, induction box, and 1.5 and 2 inch hoses and test fly the airplane today. To my amazement, my CHT's are completely unaffected by the mod. WHAT! Well, today was about 10 degrees cooler so MAYBE 10 degrees warmer if anything but seriously it was as if I didn't change a thing. Climb and cruise were also the same. Only thing I can think of is that the added restrictions of the hoses, filter and box were offset by the cooler higher pressure air coming off the plenums and made the whole thing a wash. how weird! The good news though is that I now have filtered air without the addition of another scoop. I will say though that this engine is starting to remind me of the DeLorean in back to the future :) Looks like I really am going to have to start closing off the intakes to get my temps up. My lowest cruise temp today at WOT was just over 200 degrees. WAY too cool. Good problem to have though ;)
