Brief Description:  Pipe exit mod

Well, my time spent adding nice smooth exit ramps to the exhaust pipes was a small waste of time. I did NOT expect the engine position to change this much after only 4 hrs of flight time, but it did. The mount rubbers are seating and the engine dropped, which moved my pipe position 1/8" off from center. The problem really showed itself after the last flight when I landed and noticed the cowling had burn marks where the pipes contacted the cowling. I've known of fires that started when exhaust systems ignited the epoxy in the cowls. This can't be a risk on my bird, so I sanded down the exit ramps to be flush with the cowling. Still, the clearances aren't good enough so I'll be opening them up a bit more before the next flight. They don't look "bad" but they don't look as sexy either. I may add them again after the engine settles to its final position, but that may take 100 hrs or so. Now they need a little micro and primer :)
