Brief Description:  Bummer dude, cool ending

So I arrived to find the forward UNI lip was NOT cured. not even close. DOH! That will put me a day behind schedule. I was counting on it being ready for weight and balance, but I've got to get fuel in this bird so the 1 ply UNI and aluminum strips will do for now. I cleaned up the cowling enough to fit it to the fuselage and it fits much nicer than the top one, however, the contour of the Carbon needs some help for sure. I'm going to add stiffeners to this cowl and fly it, but I really don't like having that much open air on the back end. I need to find a way to close it up, while still retaining the aerodynamic flow on both cowl halves. Who knows the cooling might be AWESOME, and I'll live with a cowl that is basically mooning everyone at the fly-ins. LOL
I cleaned up the shop, and the plane in prep for tomorrows Weigh in. This also meant installing the prop. I swear, from the engine flange back, exists the most precision engineering on this airplane. The prop went on beautifully, torqued in 5 ft.lb increments up to 28lbs. In the morning, I'll re-torque it one more time, then add safety wire. Tomorrow, she breathes FIRE!
