Brief Description: An unpleasant, pleasant surprise
I arrived to the hangar this morning with full intentions to remove the 1 ply Carbon Cowling and bring it home for more glass work. BUT I found that it was still soft. Not Gooey, but soft enough to bend and mold, so NO where near ready to come off. Bummer. HOWEVER, it was a great time to knife edge the borders and press things into place that had cured out of place. It took some work to get it all straightened out due to the material underneath, but it worked out ok. I wandered around the hangar hunting for other small tasks but found myself sitting in the cockpit, going through the G3X menus. I quickly found a few errors in communication with the AP servos and Transponder so that will have to be tackled when Marty arrives in a couple weeks. I'm sure for him it will be an EZ fix :) Well that's all for today, can't really do anything until she cures so tomorrow it is!
