Today ended up being one of those days that every task was a real drag. I filled in the massive right wing Delam which meant working upside down. not fun. Then sanded and sanded the Z-grip on the cowling mold until I couldn't see straight and decided to call it a day. These days are rare but I've learned that when the patience level is low, it's best to walk away and come back another day. Henceforth a bowl of Ice Cream and a movie to conclude my evening :)
Update: Ok so I got a second wind, knowing the temps in the hangar would be much cooler after the sun went down. I put another 2 hours of sanding in and I can confidently say it will be ready for glass work by the end of tomorrow. Still not a perfect mold, but good enough for the first version of the cowling.
