Brief Description:  The big move!

The websters dictionary needs to re-define the word Stress as: Moving an aircraft worth tens of thousands of dollars using only $20 tie down straps. I can't describe the headache I got today just from Worrying. If I EVER build another airplane it will be built AT the airport. Never again. From worrying that it's going to rain, to seeing your Tarp beating against your polished paint/primer job to wings sliding around within 1/8" of severely damaging the trailing edges of control surfaces. Or how about the crazy Drivers and cops, and potholes....and and and... AIRPLANES ARE NOT MEANT FOR THE GROUND.
However, HUGE HUGE thanks to my good friend James Bailey who offered his Truck and sweat to make this happen. 3 hours of driving and 5 hours total for him.
Word of advise, SunBelt Rentals do NOT go the extra mile for you. They were AT the gate locking it up as we pulled in at 4:59 PM. 1 more minute and we would have been stuck outside even though I called them letting them know I'd be no more than 5 minutes late. Bad service.

BUT the good news is that the airplane is now resting peacefully at it's airport Home in KY. And except for my brilliant Idea to leave the Master Switch on all night, everything turned out A OK.
Now it's time for a HOT bath and BEER!! LOL. Tomorrow begins the Hangar Setup in prep for installing the wings! And THAT will be cool.

(I'm just glad we didn't run the airplane into any buildings today....ahh too early for that joke)
