Avionics work is a lot of electrical business that someone I highly respect in the business calls it pure witchcraft. Electricity does "funny" things and the more imperfections that are present, the more demons as well! Taking this statement as gospel I was committed to cleaning EVERYTHING. NO DUST allowed. I spent 3 hours cleaning the shop and organizing all the avionics stuff I have left in prep for a long day tomorrow. Marty Harrison and his son, from Harrison Avionics, came over tonight with a truck full of tools and supplies. They wanted to get everything set up tonight so we can hit the pavement running at 8:30am SHARP tomorrow. I got to see some of the pre-made harnesses they had finished and WOW, there is nothing more gorgeous than the attention to detail Marty expects. It's no wonder why he warranties all of his harnesses for LIFE! And now that I think of it, I've never seen a customer fly in for work after the job is done. It's THAT GOOD. Marty is bringing a crew of 2 guys tomorrow so it will be a tight garage with a little hair metal to boost the mood. THANK GOD I will have the AC running because outside it's going to hit 100 and humid tomorrow.... Let the games BEGIN!
