I've finally decided to go ahead and install the LED landing light inside the nose and add a lexan window underneath very much like the Velocity aircraft installation. For now I am starting with a 4 point angled braket that will use 4 screws and 4 springs allowing 4 point adjustment to the light RIGHT where it needs to be. The bracket will be recessed into the nose which means I will have to clear foam and glass up front. This also means the inside of this part of the nose will yet again need to be filled and finished. sheesh. :)
